How to Install Motorcraft FL 2016 Oil Filter?
Here's a installation guide for the Motorcraft FL-2016 oil filter on 2003-2010 Ford 6.0L/6.4L Powerstroke engines:
Step 1. Locate Old Filter: Find the existing oil filter on your Ford 6.0L/6.4L Powerstroke engine. It's typically located on the bottom side of the engine.
Step 2. Prepare: Have a drain pan ready to catch any oil that may spill during the process.
Step 3. Remove Old Filter: Use an oil filter wrench to carefully loosen and remove the old oil filter. Be prepared for some oil to spill out.
Step 4. Prepare New Filter: Before installing the new Motorcraft FL-2016 oil filter, apply a thin layer of clean oil to the rubber gasket on the top of the filter.
