Follow these steps to install the Cat 1R-0751 Fuel Filter:

Locate the fuel filter housing (refer to your manual).
Clean the area around the filter.

Use a wrench to loosen and remove the old filter.
Lubricate the new filter gasket with clean diesel fuel.
Prime the new filter with clean diesel fuel (if required).
Screw the new filter onto the housing by hand until the gasket contacts the base.
Tighten an additional 3/4 to 1 turn by hand.
Start the engine and inspect for leaks.
Properly dispose of the old filter and clean the work area.
