Follow these steps to install the Cat 1R-0751 Fuel Filter:
- Turn off the engine and let it cool.

- Locate the fuel filter housing (refer to your manual).
- Clean the area around the filter.

- Use a wrench to loosen and remove the old filter.
- Lubricate the new filter gasket with clean diesel fuel.

- Screw the new filter onto the housing by hand until the gasket contacts the base.
- Tighten an additional 3/4 to 1 turn by hand.
- Start the engine and inspect for leaks.
