Installation Guide:

Quick Installation Guide for Cat 1R-0751 Fuel Filter

1. Turn off the engine and let it cool.
2. Wear safety gloves and glasses.
3. Locate the fuel filter housing (refer to your manual).
4. Clean the area around the filter.
5. Place a container under the filter to catch spills.
6. Use a filter wrench if needed to loosen the old filter.
7. Unscrew and remove the old filter, placing it in the container.
8. Lubricate the new filter gasket with clean diesel fuel.
9. Prime the new filter with clean diesel fuel (if required).
10. Screw the new filter onto the housing by hand until the gasket contacts the base.
11. Tighten an additional 3/4 to 1 turn by hand.
12. Start the engine and let it run for a few minutes.
13. Inspect for any fuel leaks around the filter.
14. Properly dispose of the old filter and any contaminated materials.
15. Ensure there are no leaks and the filter is secure.
16. Clean the work area of any spilled fuel.
