Installation Guide:
Step 1: Preparation: Park vehicle on level surface, turn off engine, and wear protective gear.
Step 2: Relieve Fuel System Pressure: Remove fuel pump fuse, run engine until it stalls, and disconnect the battery.
Step 3: Remove the Old Fuel Filter: Place a fuel catch container under the filter and loosen the old filter with a wrench.
Step 4: Install the New Fuel Filter: Apply clean fuel to the new filter gasket, screw it in by hand, and tighten with a wrench.
Step 5: Reconnect Fuel System Components: Reconnect fuel lines or electrical connectors, replace the fuel pump fuse or relay, and reconnect the battery.
Step 6: Check for Leaks: Turn ignition on and off to pressurize the system, check for leaks, then start the engine and inspect again.
Step 7: Clean Up: Dispose of the old filter and rags properly, and clean up the work area.
